What happens when flash suport goes away?

I've seen a lot of rumblings that adobe Flash is being killed off because they keep having to patch security holes, etc.
I'm sure I don't know all the details, but I was wondering if a plan is in place to migrate a new platform?

Crumbling and crashing? What do you mean by that, Sadstory?

The only issue I have now is Flash not working properly on the standalone - but only when using Firefox. Otherwise, the game has been working fine for me.

Adobe Flash Player is being shut down by 2020 due to massive security breaches.

Yes, it is time to move to HTML5 and avoid completely action script, flash and all related technology. It is unstable, slow and has serious memory leaks (in several methods/functions).
Many developers are already doing it. Example - Nodiatis game, they moved to HTML5 years ago and flash client is already obsolete. Their developers also wrote app client (no browser needed).

so less then 2 years till the Game shuts down too ??!! i thought Dotd was doing ok to keep it going or maybe its time to sell the Game rights to some other Developer who can handle it before 2020 .

and why HTML5 and not Unity ? just curious .

I don't know of any games like Dotd that are unity-based. That is primarily for 3D games, isn't it?
HTML5 would be the most practical.

That said, don't take to heart much of what this thread says, it's all player speculation.
